The Union Pacific Railroad has requested the railroad drawbridge closure at River Mile (RM) 114.3. The Ouachita River drawbridge is located three miles south of the Columbia Lock and Dam in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana.
The bridge will be closed to river traffic during the period 7:00 AM, June 20 – 7:00 AM, June 23.
The drawbridge is to remain in the closed-to-navigation position in order to change the brake wheel of the bridge.
Shippers are encouraged to plan river movements accordingly.
